Projects
Club members join one or more project areas depending on their interests. In all projects, Byte by Byte members work side-by-side with members from other clubs, sharing mentors and working together in multi-club teams and groups.
Robotics Project
Byte by Byte runs robotics teams in partnership with FIRST Robotics. Team memberships is limited according to FIRST rules, so robotics teams are first come, first serve, with preference given to continuing members.

First Lego League (FLL) teams for ages 9-14 meet Wednesdays at 6:30pm on Zoom. Spaces on the team are limited per FIRST organization rules.

Limited space is available for First Lego League Junior (FLL Jr) teams for ages 5-9.

For 2021, robotics members ages 12-18 can join our new First Tech Challenge (FTC) team.

Our First Robotics Competition (FRC) team, the Botsmiths, is NOT meeting in 2020-2021.
Minecraft Group Build
Members have been working since Summer 2020 to create a scale model of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Minecraft from photos, maps, and measurements.
The Minecraft group meets Tuesdays at 6:30pm on Zoom.
Computer Science Project
Computer science project activities are offered before and after robotics team seasons.
Activities vary according to member interests, but usually include 3D printing, computer programming, computer building and troubleshooting, circuits, and more.
Meetings are held Wednesdays at 6:30pm at least twice per month after the age groups' robotics season ends. Members in the Cloverbud, Junior, and Intermediate age groups may meet together.
Aviation/Aerospace & Sewing Projects
Activities for these projects are TBD for 2020-2021.
